Bike & Body Policies

 

Scheduling & Cancellations

Appointments require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.

Late cancellations (under 24 hours) and missed appointments will be charged as follows:

  • Physical Therapy / Wellness Sessions: $75

  • Bike Fit Sessions: $100

Late arrivals: Sessions will end at the scheduled time, and full session fees apply.


Session Time & Billing

All sessions are billed based on scheduled and/or actual time. Sessions extending beyond the scheduled duration will be billed at the standard hourly rate.


Bike Fit Follow-Up Policy

Your bike fit includes one complimentary follow-up adjustment (up to 30 minutes). This must be both requested and scheduled within 3 weeks of your initial appointment. Due to limited availability, clients are encouraged to reach out early if a follow-up is needed.

Follow-ups beyond 30 minutes, or scheduled outside this 3-week window, will be billed at the standard hourly rate ($165/hr).


Break-In Period & Bicycle Adjustments

Bike fit adjustments often require a short adaptation period, generally 2 weeks, during which you should:

  • Reduce riding intensity, duration, and volume

  • Use easier gearing when appropriate

  • Monitor your body’s response to position changes

It is normal to experience new or different sensations, particularly muscular, but you should not experience sharp or increasing pain. If you experience discomfort, or have questions, contact Bike & Body immediately.

Bicycle components are loosened/retightened as part of the fit. Clients are responsible for ensuring components are secure before riding.


Email Consultations

If you require detailed feedback or assessment via email outside of a scheduled appointment, these consultations are billed at $165/hr. Please email Bike & Body to schedule or discuss email consultations in advance.


Client Responsibilities & Acknowledgment

By participating in any service at Bike & Body, you acknowledge that:

  • You are sufficiently healthy to participate in physical activity and cycling

  • You will communicate any discomfort, pain, or concerns during or after sessions

  • You will inform Bike & Body of any changes in health or fitness status that may impact safe participation

  • You have been advised to consult with a physician before engaging in any exercise or training if you have questions about your health
